Okay, so here’s the thing:
Most email marketers mostly send
out blatant pitch emails, right?
Now I’m not against selling or
pitching but the churn ‘n’ burn
model is way less profitable in
the long term.
So here are 3 ways you can be a
‘cool cat’ to your list and still
1) BLOG POSTS
Use a blog to slap your quality
You can plug a related offer in the
post or at the end.
Plus you can have a few banner ads on
your blog as well.
You can send an email to your list
about your blog posts and over time
get some S.E.O. traffic coming to. Nice.
2) VALUE EMAILS
Simple as it sounds just send some valuable
emails to your list.
It could be an article such as you would
put on a blog…
But it could just be a really helpful
tip, a short checklist (like this email)
Or a short entertaining or inspirational
Or a way of looking at something in your
market from a fresh angle…
Or whatever. Then just tie in your ‘value
email’ to whatever it is you want to plug.
Simplez (but effective).
3) PDF Reports
Make them good value (not necessarily long),
and deliver them directly. That means not
having to ‘opt-in’ or register for anything.
Just give the link directly to the pdf or
straight to a download page.
In the PDF you can plug your links in the
actual content where it makes sense – such
as a useful tool or ebook etc.
Then have a ‘Resources’ section at the
end where you can plug your offers.
If you make the info good people will
click on your links.
They won’t if it’s a pants report though!
Another tip is to let people who download
your PDF reports give it away to others.
If it’s good stuff they will. Then your
links get more eyeballs virally.

I hate the dentist.

You have probably heard that with internet marketing you should build a list right? Building a list and making offers to your list has been one thing that has worked for a long time and is still working…

If you are on marketing email lists no doubt you will have noticed that a lot of them use the same email marketing plan…

List building may have been around for what seems ages now but it still rocks and it still works When done right.
But what do you think of (in terms of making money) when it comes to list building?
Typically you would think of sending an email promoting a product or service and getting paid right? And it doesn’t matter if it’s your own product or an affiliate offer where you make a commission.
Same difference. Send email – get money.
But could you still make any money even if you had a list full of freebie seekers who flat out refuse to stump up a dime for anything?
3 Ways To Make Money From Your Email List
Even If No One Buys a Thing
1) Sell Solo Ads
Instead of trying to make money directly from your subscribers you could sell solo ads to other people in your market.
In short they would pay you to send an email to your list promoting one of their squeeze pages.
I would sell a guaranteed number of clicks and promote only free offers.
2) Promote CPA or Cost Per Lead Offers
If your market has a related CPA (Cost Per Action) or a Cost Per Lead offer this can be a good way to make some extra cash without having to sell anything.
Instead what you would promote with this type of offer is some sort of lead capture page – which could just be a squeeze page. The point is it is offering something for free. Then you would usually get paid per confirmed opt-in or similar.
Nothing new with this one, but you always have the option of doing adswaps with other people in your market who also have email lists.
Typically each swap partner will promote the other ones squeeze page so you are basically swapping leads.
I’m not a great fan of ad-swaps and people tend to overdo them I think.
But it is still a viable option especially if you are not making money from your current subscribers. Instead you can use Ad-Swaps to get fresh subscribers on your list. And who knows – you may be able to sell to these fresh leads!
